McFly are a British pop-rock band who first found fame in 2004 and were the youngest band to have an album debut at number one. The band was founded by Tom Fletcher after another british band, Busted, said that they wanted a trio band. There were no hard feelings post-Busted for Tom. He wanted to be in a band so he went to an audition for the band V. Danny Jones was thereat the audition too. Harry Judd and Dougie Poynter came soon after.
